La Petite Bouchée is our pop up restaurant based in Sydenham Wells Park, in South East London. We have always wanted to work with food. We had already launched a small batch artisan food company in May and then we were given the opportunity to buy our beautiful vintage 1971 Citroen HY camper van. The idea for La Petite Bouchée happened after we had bought her in March.
She was originally destined for Heaven Preserve Us. Then rather suddenly the idea to turn her into a four seater bistro came like a bolt from the blue at about 0300 in the morning. We then agreed a name and by dawn we had a concept and a url. The concept is simple, a four seater bistro which serves simple but hugely flavoursome, french classics and beyond.

We source all of our ingredients locally or they are homegrown. All of our vinaigrettes, sauces and preserves are made from scratch and we use only the finest seasonal organic ingredients. You book, we’ll give you a choice of menu and then we’ll go and source the ingredients ready for your meal that evening.
